INTERPRETATION

GENERALIZATION

The third step in the Inductive Study Method is Generalization. This step answers ‘so what’s the big idea?’ and attempts to build a bridge between time periods.

APPLICATION

The fourth step is Application, and it answers the question, ‘what difference can old passages make to contemporary living?’

The graphic of a farm tiller represents the good and true practice of farming. An act prevalent and necessary for survival then and now.

IMPLEMENTATION

The sand castle illustrates a work in progress that requires vigilance to maintain its construct and, to protect it from constant threats of destruction.
