SHANG DYNASTY
- The shang dynasty held power from 1600 to 1046 B.C.
- People used bronze to make tools and weapons.
- The people carved words on animal shells.
- The shell that were written on were called oracles.
ZHOU DYNASTY
- This dynasty reigned for 900 years.
- They kept written records of the daily basis.
- The final Zhou emperors were weak and couldnt keep there power.
- Many small states broke away and had civil wars.
QIN DYNASTY
- The Qin dynasty only lasted for about 15 years.
- Qin took control of all of China.
- Qin wanted a tomb tomdisplay his power and importance.
- Afte Qin died, they gaurded over his tomb.
HAN DYNASTY
- The Han dynasty began after Qin's sons lost control of the dynasty.
- Lasting more than 400 years
- Population of more than 60 million people
- One of the strongest dynastys in Chinese history
MING DYNASTY
- They were the Mongols
- They had control until 1279 to 1368
- Genghis Khan was a leader
- They were a large empire.
