PRESENTATION OUTLINE

BASIC LIVING SKILLS FINAL PROJECT

BY MATT TROMBLEY

1)There are two types of goals. There are short term, and there are long term goals. Short term goals are something that can be reached in like a couple of months. Long term are something that takes at least a year to reach.
2)A want is something that you don't need but you want it. You don't have to have these things to make it through life, but it makes your life more fun.
3)A need is something that you need to get through life. You can not live without this. Your basic essentials in life that you require. Like water and food.

1)I did some research and I found out that I am a hands on learner. I need to do the thing I am learning or I will not be to learn the thing as well.
2)Another learning style that I benefit from is visual learning. When I can see how they are doing the activity in front of me then I can learn it very we'll also.
3)The third learning style for me is like if I teach it to someone else. This way I am repeating what is being told to me and I am very hands on with it, and I am creating a visual for myself.

1) There is a process in making decisions. It goes:
-identify the issue.
-list thee possible ways to solve the problem.
-evaluate pros and cons of the situation.
-choose the option and act on it.
-evaluate results.
2)there is a self concept circle. It starts off by as I see myself, then it goes to my actions, then goes as others see me, and then others reactions to me.

1)There are multiple ways to manage your time. You can either do it effectively or non effectively. A way that you can manage it effectively is by planning ahead do that way you don't get over booked and over crammed.
2) A way to non effectively use your time is by planning things without knowing what your schedule is like. Planning not open minded.
3) Stress management can be caused from multiple things. Not planning smartly. You have to plan. A very good way not to get stress management is by using a calendar.

1) Suicide is one of the leasing causes of death in the world today. Suicide is one of the biggest crisis management problems. Suicide can be caused from stress which also falls under stress.
2) Depression is also under the category of crisis management. Depression is also caused from stress and not planning correctly. Depression is also a huge problem in the world today.
3) Crisis management can handled easily by using good coping skills. By not panicking when you see a problem. Another good coping skills is to just relax and not over think things do much.

1)Communication is probably the biggest things people need to do in the world. If you don't communicate then nobody would be able to do anything.
2) communication is probably the biggest thing couple need to have, because there really is nothing there if they can't communicate.
3) Trust is achieved when there is communication. Also that person can rely on them when there is communication. Trust is definitely a thing people need to have.

1) Dating is something everyone needs to achieve at least once in their life. You need to know what it's like to have another person in your life that you love.
2) dating is maintained on many things. But mostly trust. You have to be able to trust the other person in the relationship or that relationship has no way of surviving.
3) Communication is also what keeps a relationship together. When you can communicate very well then your relationship has a chance of lasting. Without it, it is just like being alone.

This semester I have learned so much more about everything in life. I learned how to deal with stress, with all things to do with depression, how to overcome something like suicide if I ever thought about doing it. I learned what to do if someone else is going to do it. How to communicate with others. How to just deal with life. I really enjoyed taking this class. I feel I will carry so much more knowledge with me on just everything that has to do with living. I probably would take this class again if offered.
