Simile
a figure of speach involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind. She was small like an ant.

Metaphor. A figure of speech in which a word phrase is applied to an object or an action to which it is not literally applicable. He hit the ball a mile high.

Idiom. A group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deduced from those of individual words. That pitch looked like a rocket!

Perosnification. The attribution of a personal nature or human characteristics to something nonhuman or represent oftan avstract quality in for human. The stars danced playfully in the moonlit sky.

Onomatopoeia. It is a sound that means its name like bang,or boom. When he got hit his shoulder pads made the noise boom!!!.

Alliteration. The occurrence of the same letter or sound at the hegging at adjective or closely connected words. Alices aunt ate apples and acorns around August.
