  • 1-14 Piglets every litter
  • Gestation 112-120 days
  • Every 100-140 days

Impact

  • Rooting, wallowing, and trampling compacts soil
  • Disrupts water infiltration
  • Helps the spread of invasive plant species

  • Activity of the pigs in streams reduces water quality by increasing turbity and contaminants - Which affects the native aquatic life, mostly fish
  • Increased fecal concentrations
