GEORGIA EVENT 1

• Russia has recently threatened Georgia with a jet fighter and helicopter
• Russia and Georgia went to war in 2008
• Georgia is trying to help Ukraine in a way of defending areas
• This May concern the U.S. Because if they go into a war we are going to have to pick a side

GEORGIA EVENT 2

• Obama told Georgia to forget about NATO after showing encouragement to join
• NATO means North Atlantic Treaty Organization
• This could be a threat to U.S. If they turn against us we could establish another enemy
• Georgia wouldn't be a huge threat but would still be a threat we wouldn't need

ITALY EVENT 1

• Italy failed to protect migrant workers
• Closing down structures for migrant workers , working unattended
• 2,370 workers have arrived in Italy since the new year
• Could affect U.S. By America paying more attention to migrant workers
• Make sure all work is supervised

ITALY EVENT 2

• Italy promised relative safety for people in Ukraine
• Also promised high returns
• This could affect U.S. by more people being safe from Ukraine
• Would help America with protecting Ukrainian people
