You will be applying the risk and protective factor theory to television character you know well.

You will sign up for what character you want to write about. There is a list of approved characters. No two students can write about the same character.

The theory paper is broken into eight smaller parts.

Each of the eight parts of your theory paper is worth five points.

If you do each of eight parts of the theory paper completely and submit them all one time, you will earn 40 points.

One part of the paper is due every week.

Each week, there will a dropbox for one part of the theory paper. It will contain step by step instructions for writing that week's part of the theory paper.

Every week, there will be a video posted that explains that week's part of the theory paper. The explanation will use Harry Potter as an example. This should help you apply each part of the theory to your tv character.

Later in the term, for the last of the eight parts, you will also apply the theory to yourself.
