Montag learns many things through out the book. He learns that fireman use to put out fires, instead of starting them. He also learned that books are good, not bad.

Most of the time the fireman burn down houses is during the night. Montag is forced to burn his own house down at night. He then runs away after killing Beaty, during night.

Overdose
Mildred was Guy Montag's wife. But she didn't think and overdosed on sleeping pills often. One of the opening scenes is when she is having her stomach pumped of all the pills contents.

Pills
Pills hold drugs that are supposed to help you with mental and physical problems. Mildred overdoses on sleeping pills often. Mildred takes the sleeping pills to obviously help sleep, and whenever she gets stressed out.
