ASIAN CARP

  • They are originally from Eastern Russia and China
  • Imported by catfish farmers in the 1970's
  • Do damage to native fish population
  • Asian Carps siege the Great Lakes and have the highest population

RABBITS

  • They come from Western Mediterranean
  • We're brought on the first fleet
  • Rabbits are responsible for erosion problems
  • Contribute to many extinctions of native plants

CANE TOADS

  • They come from Mexico, Central America, and South America.
  • Packed in a box a shipped away
  • They are good for driving pests away
  • Poison animals that try to eat them

KUDZU

  • Came from Japan
  • Brought for exposition on 1876
  • It terrorizes the native plants
  • Kudzu will grow over everything in its path

GRAY SQURILLE

  • found in New Brunswick to Manitob
  • "Grey squirrels were released in the UK from their native land, North America, by Christopher Dikmuchgrey"
