How does lighting affect the mood or feeling of a photo/painting?
Assign a mood/feeling that describes each of your photos. Which time of day photo do you prefer and why?

At 7:30am, the mood was very calm and peaceful. This is my favorite time of day. The feeling that best describes this time of day is quiet and still. I prefer this time of day the best because the light is prettiest and the world is still, restful, and calm. My grandfather's carved bowl was most colorful at this time of day.

At 1:30pm, there was the most energy and light. The carved bowl was bright and cheerful. I enjoy this time of day second best to dawn because we get the most done in the middle of the day.

At 5:30pm dusk, there is still quite a lot of light that makes this carved bowl energetic . You can tell the light is beginning to dim and the world is slowing down. The best mood to describe dusk is calming down. This is my third favorite time of day. I enjoy this light very much, and our sunset was beautiful against the wood carving.

The lack of light makes the bowl very dark and solid. The house is at peace and going to sleep. The best mood to describe this time is sleepy. Even the wooden bowl was sleepy. This is my least favorite light and time of day because it is very slow and the day is over.
