Why is this system important?
If your body can't get rid of can lead to infections that can make you really sick.

The Excretory System is what the body uses to get rid of waists.

MAIN ORGANS USED

  • Kidneys
  • Skin
  • Lungs
  • Liver
  • Gallbladder
  • Urinary bladder
  • Ureters
  • Urethra
  • Large intestine

The kidneys:
The kidneys send what they have of the waists to the ureters so that it can transfer down to the urinary bladder to be excreted from the body.

Skin:
The skin allows you too sweat and that is one of many ways you can excrete waists.

Lungs:
Lungs are a different part of the excretory system because this is exhaling carbon dioxide.

Liver:
The liver is a very important part of the excretory system, it detoxifies chemicals and possible poisons that enter the body.

Gallbladder:
The gallbladder is kinda like the kidneys, except it produces a breakdown liquid.

Urinary Bladder:
The urinary bladder gives a short term hold on the storing urine in the body.

Ureters:
Transfers the waists from the kidneys to the urinary bladder to be disposed.

Urethra:
The urethra carries semen and urine for their discharge out of the body.

Large Intestine:
A storage organ for excretory products.

Fun facts:
The largest vein in your body runs through your kidneys to clean your blood
