Tips for learning English fast

Now that you know the three basic tips for learning English, it's time to try other less common, but equally effective

1. Start with basic verbs, phrasal verbs and how to ask questions

Tolearn English fast it is important that you write and concentrate on knowing the basic verbs, such as to be, to get, to have, as well as modal verbs, etc. Practice how to conjugate them and how to use them in sentences.
Create a list of common expressions that native speakers use daily. It will be very useful to practice the most common ones, such as:• What's up
• Thank you very much (thank you very much)
• Excuse me... (sorry/sorry...)
• What do you think? (What do you think?)
• Never mind
It is also essential that you learn to ask questions using wh questions, such as what, where, when, among others.

2. Focus on the vocabulary you're most likely to use right away
Make a smart list of things you're most likely to talk about in your close circles and look for relevant vocabulary. In other words, start with the vocabulary you're going to use the most in your daily activities, for example, cooking, working, and so on.

Practice creating sentences or conversations using those words, for example, when cooking, try to think about how you would describe the process, ingredients, tips, etc. in English.

3. Create mind maps by situation
It is similar to tip 1, but this tip to learn fast English divides vocabulary by situations. For example, you will not use the same words when writing a formal email with your boss as when writing on WhatsApp to ask for reports to buy in a clothing store. You can write down questions, greetings, goodbyes and keywords for each of these and other situations. This will help you memorize and classify your vocabulary

4. Move forward step by step

Master the daily vocabulary first, then move on to more complex topics. Read newspapers, online news, blogs. Unless they are British posh publications, most of the time they use basic vocabulary and expressions that everyone uses on a daily basis, and that are the same words you could use when talking to a native speaker or living in a place where English is an official language.

5. Set goals
To learn English easily it is essential to set goals. Remember that objectives must be measurable and comparable. It is not worth setting a goal of the type I want to be more fluent in speaking. "More fluid" says nothing in practical terms. Instead you can set yourself as a goal, for example, for the last day of next month I want to speak in English for 5 minutes without getting stuck or forgetting words. Once you achieve it, you can raise the time to 10 minutes and so on consecutively until that fluency is a fact.

6. Change the language to English on your computer and cell phone

One of the most typical recommendations to learn fast English is to surround yourself 24/7, or as much as possible, with the language. For that it is not necessary to go to live in a country where this is the official language, just small tricks such as changing the language of your devices, this will help you live with the same vocabulary with which native speakers interact every day: that of your phone and your computer.

7. Do language exchange

Just as you want to learn English, it is very likely that a native English speaker will want to learn or practice their Spanish. To facilitate the task of finding someone like that, multiple language exchange platforms have emerged. It is not necessary for either of you to be teachers, as as native speakers you can help each other sound more natural and gain more confidence. It's also a great way to make friends around the world.

8. Make the dictionary your best friend

English translator or dictionary? While there are times when one or the other is of great help, the dictionary has the advantage that it does not translate the word, but gives you its meaning in English. This forces you to know new things in this language. It can also integrate an immense network of words to know, that is, when reading the meaning of a word that you do not know you can find another word unknown to you, which you can search for and you will probably find another term that you had never heard, so until you know every day a little more the language.
