• The Proclamation was made because King George III faced a lot of problems
• One of the problems was to keep the colonist and native americans 
• From killing each other. 
• To solve the problem George III drew a line between the Appalachian Mts.
• But then the government ignored this problems and expanded there army

• The purpose of the tax is because to help pay for the troops.
• Many colonist considered this Act as a violation to there rights.
• The Stamp act went into effect in November, 1765

• Colonist were required food for the British soldiers and a their home.
• The first Quartering act was given on May 3,1765.
• This act ended on March 12, 1767.

• This act was named after Charles Townshend.
• The purpose of this was to raise revenue to pay the salaries for 
• The governors and judges.
• Revenue: an amount of money regularly coming in.

The Boston Massacre

• This started when colonist threw rocks and then the troops started firing. 
• Only five colonist died during the massacre.
• The massacre was on March 5, 1770.

Tea Act

• The Tea Act was passed by Parliament on May 10, 1773.
• The Boston Tea party was occurred on December 16, 1773. 
• 116 people participated in the destruction of the tea. 
• About 90, 000 lbs. of tea has been thrown overboard.

Tea are being overthrown the ship.
