Plants and their adaptions to the enviroments.
Smooth grass: marsh health contributes large amount organic material.
Seagrass: adapted to salt water
Purple Loostrife: adapted to life near marshy shorelines.
Aquatic Plant: it has adapted to life underwater.

Great Egret: controls fish
Great Blue Heron: controls gophers and fish population.
River otter: reduced lobulation of the lungs is presumed to be adaptive to underwater swimming.
Harbor Seal: adapted to salt water.

Fun Facts:
-Estuaries are nursery grounds for 2/3 of the fish we eat
-Estuaries provide essential food and habitat for birds, fish, and other plants and animals.
Estuaries filter pollutants, improving water quickly.
