(1) PRACTICA/INTERNSHIPS FOR CURRENT TEACHERS/LIBRARIANS
What are successful practices for arranging candidates’ practicum or internship experiences when the candidates are currently teaching? How do you deal with increasingly shorter summer school sessions? What concerns or obstacles have you experienced? What do the standards (CAEP/COA) require in terms of the amount of time required for internships, etc.?

(2) COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PER ACCREDITATION STANDARDS
How are your candidates engaging with communities during practicum experiences? Outside the practicum? What standards or expectations shape any expectations for community-immersed learning, e.g., CAEP, state licensure regulations, university programs?

(3) CONDUCTING RESEARCH WITH SCHOOLS What research methods are successful in terms of gaining access to school environments? What topics or groups would you like to research, but haven’t been able to acquire permission to study? What barriers have you encountered? Do you have any work-arounds to suggest? What partnerships would help to enrich or expand research opportunities in schools?

(4) EVALUATING PRACTICUM STUDENTS What evidence(s) are you collecting for assessment of practicum students/interns? What skills or dispositions are more challenging to observe or gather? How are you supervising distance student practica? How might this group (ESLS) support this part of your instruction?
