WHERE WAS IT INVENTED?
THE ESCALATOR WAS MADE IN KANSAS BUT FIRST USED AT CONEY ISLAND.
HOW DID IT EFFECT LIFE BACK THEN?
- People first used the escalator as an attraction at an amusement park.
- It changed things so people could get from one place to another more convientaly.
- They would no longer have to carry large bags or lots of items up the stairs.
ABOUT JESSE W. RENO
- He built a subway system so that people could get on and off easier.
- He wanted to build an escalator that went from the streets to underground bus stations.
- His idea was shot down but he kept his dreams and later on in life got to make one.
