PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Water from the pond has broken down the dirt under the tree roots.
When they added cement the erosion was broken down froming a hill.
When it rained it broke down the layers of the ground and formed a hole and soon became a pond.
Over the years parts of this field have been broken down from rain erosion.
Every thing is moving in the direction of the pond because that is the way the water flows out of the drains.
This is where the water comes out of the lake into the pond to refill the pond to keep the wildlife in the pond from dying, Because sometimes we don't get enough rain to keep it full. They put the cement rocks there to slow down the water and keep it from lots of water coming out at once.
Rocks from the ground have broken off and fell into the water.
They construction people put erosion barriers to keep the dirt from washing down the hill when it rains so that the dirt does not wash down around our school.
They separate the holes into two so that not a lot of water comes out as one big wash.
They put rocks to stop the erosion because they don't want dirt from the ground to fill up the pond and add extra layers to the bottom of the pond and not make it as deep.
They put a sharp edge on the drain to slow down the water so that it does not flood the area and make more deposition in the soil .
