PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Inuit Shelter

By Erin

The Inuit live in igloos, cabins, and tents.

The homes are made out of hard snow, animal skins, wood, whale bones, ice, and rocks.

Their homes are the same as ours because some of their houses are made out of wood.

And their tents are different then ours because theirs are made out of animal skin.

How they make igloos is they get a hard kind of snow, turn them into blocks, put them together, and cut them a little.

To make a tent they sew deer or walrus skin together and they use poles on the inside to hold it up.

They use these shelters because their place is very cold and they don't have bricks or stone like we do.
