Date of Birth

  • Edward Robert Hughes was born in 1851, London. 

Assistance

  • He was a nephew to William Holman Hunt.
  • Later on, Hughes help him with St. Paul's version of The Light Of The World

Best Art Pieces

  • His best art pieces were Midsummer Eve and Night With Her Train Of Stars.
  • Most of his pieces were based on midnight fantasies.

  • Robert Hughes would often use watercolor/gouache.
  • You can usually see the smooth coloration in his pieces.
