CHILD LABOR LAWS

  • Along with the new industrial revolution came more attention towards child laborers
  • This ultimately slowed down production and costed much more money than previously
  • As well as this, entrepreneurs were able to hire less and less staff

SOME OF THESE LAWS INCLUDED

  • Minimum work ages (which meant less jobs were available)
  • Prohibiting certain jobs
  • Maximum work hours (taking away job oppertunities)

HOWEVER,

  • During the first industrial revolution
  • These limitations were non existing
  • But new inventions were still arising
  • Aiding businesses in ways we had never seen before

THESE NEW MACHINES IMPROVED PRODUCTION

  • The steam engine
  • Spinning mule
  • Steam powered locomotive
  • Dynamo

AS WEL AS THIS

  • Although these machines took the place of many jobs
  • These were made up when the inventions prompted factories
  • Because production increased, goods became less expensive too
  • And More privileged people were able to invest with their money like never before

THE PRESERVING OF THE FIRST REVOLUTION

  • Should be easy considering most every class can benefit
  • Working class citizens and children have the right to earn money for their families
  • And higher class citizens are allowed to continue to profit
