• A couple of years ago, the Philippine Congress released a study that said about 123,000 hectares of the country’s forest cover are lost every year.
• Former President Benigno S. Aquino said during his state of the nation address (2011) that most politicians only use tree planting for publicity.

LAW ENFORCEMENT

• Strict implementation of Republic act 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management of Act of 2000 should be made.

• Protection of the public Health and Environment
• Utilize environmentally sound methods
• Proper segregations of waste
• Set Guidelines for the Policies

MODERNIZATION

• June this year DOTR launched PUV modernization.
• All vehicles should be Euro The 4 emissions standard.
• PUV operators was given the standard guidelines for their vehicles.
