Pathos:
Making an emotional appeal
When the author tries to connect emotionally with the reader. Make you sympathize
PATHOS EXAMPLES
- "He has..." this adds emphasis on the action
- Substance abuse commericals
- Clean water commericals
Logos:
Appealing to logic, making logical appeals.
When an author appeals to our logic to try to convince us that their argument is better than other arguments.
