  • Students are better able to communicate and collaborate on group projects
  • Information comes in a multi-media format that helps keep the attention of young learners
  • Many apps provide hands-on-learning opportunities that keep students focused on rigorous content standards

Differentiation

  • Teachers can present the same content but differentiate how it is presented to students based on individual learning styles
  • Students have choice in how they respond to overarching unit questions
  • Teachers individualize instruction based on skills, depth of complexity, or student interest

Monitoring Student Progress

Student Progress

  • Teachers get automatic feedback of student understanding in key content areas
  • Teachers can also give more timely feedback to students on assignments and tests
  • Teachers can make immediate changes in instruction to better benefit students

How Will I Use This New Knowledge?

  • Revamp old lessons by integrating certain apps that will allow for more student engagement
