Elvis Presley was one of the key founders in Rock and Roll, and thanks to him we got music that defined generations.

Pros

• Gave us bands like Led Zeppelin
• Rockstars became the voices of the youth at the time
• Many musicians have helped in the musics creation  
• The music continues to affect some of us to this day.

Cons

• A lot of the time Elvis gets exclusive credit
• Now we have bands like Falling in Reverse
• The music isn't what it was when it came out
• The standard for talent in music has decreased
