TITANIUM

The element I chose was Titanium. The symbol for titanium is TI. Titanium was named by Martin Heinrich Klaproth. He got it's name from the Titans from Greek mythology.

Titanium metal isn't found as the free element. It is usually present in igneous rocks and in the sediments derived in it. Titanium is found as a solid.

Titanium is a part of the metal section of the periodic table.

The element titanium is 0.66% of the earth's crust. It. Is the ninth most abundant in the earth's crust.

Titanium can be used in hammers, some scissors, and in watches.

Protons are are very small particles with an positive charge found inside the nucleus of the atom. In titanium there are 22. A neutron is a small particle with no electric charge which is also found in the nucleus. In titanium there are 26 .Electrons are small particles that fly around the outside of the nucleus with a negative charge.

Atoms and elements are related because the element consists of atoms depending on there protons, nuetons, and electrons.
