CIRCUITS

  • The wire conducts the electric current in a circuit
  • The switch completes the circuit
  • The switch also allows current to flow, if it is closed then it's stops the electric current that means its open
  • The battery makes the power to the circuit
  • The light bulb is the object in the circuit; to electrical energy to a light energy💡

SIMPLE CIRCUIT

  • There is one path in a simple circuit
  • If one light bulb goes out, all the light bulbs turn off
  • There is at least one wire, one battery, and one or more light bulbs

PARALLEL CIRCUITS

  • There are more than one path in the parallel circuit
  • There are at least one battery and at least more than one wire
  • If one light bulbs goes out all the other lights will still be lit

INSULATOR

  • The insulator will NOT let the circuit continue
  • If the light bulb does light up then the object is an insulator
  • For example plastic and wooden objects are insulators

SOUND ENERGY

  • Electrical energy can be changed to sound energy
  • For example headphones and iPads are sound energy

HEAT ENERGY

  • Electrical energy can be changed to heat energy
  • For example a heater and a microwave is one of the many things that are heat energy

LIGHT ENERGY

  • Electrical energy can be changed to light energy
  • For example light bulbs and lamps are light energy
