The teachers will introduce a text and give relevant background information.

We will read is a class for 20 minutes. Hopefully we will finish half the text.

The students working in groups will find inferences and predictions with textual evidence about the direction of the story. It is important that the student site their textual evidence. We will need to scaffold how to site textual evidence.

Hopefully this will be an assessment. I hope that students know what a Faustian text is and are able to identify it.

The students will complete their reading for homework and have some check-in questions the next day.
