WHERE IS ANCIENT EGYPT

• Ancient Egypt is located in Egypt by the Nile

MUMMIFICATION

• Mummification is when Egyptions preserved bodies as mummies.They get cloth and wrap them in the cloth.But before that they have to treat the bodies carfully.

PYRAMIDS

• Pyrimids are huge triangular tombs built by the Egyptions and other people.Pyrimids took years to build.At first they where like squares.

• Sphinxes are imaginary creatures with the bodies of lions and the heads of other animals or people
• Some sphinxes are used to guard tombs.

KING TUTANKHAMUN

• King Tutankhamun (King Tut) was a young pharaoh who died at the age of 19.In King Tut's tomb was treasures.On King Tut's face is a mask made of gold.

• The New Kingdom was a period during which which Egypt reached the hieght of its power and glory
