EGGS
BOOK BY JERRY SPINNELLI

PROJECT BY ANNIE WASSERMAN

Loser is different from Eggs, because in Eggs David is just depressed; he is not being bullied. In Loser, Zinkoff has a mom and a dad, but David only has a dad. They are both sad, and so brave.

HOW DID THE CHARACTER CHANGE?

David, who was the main character changed by seeing that lots of people in this world love him and support him.

CONNECTIONS

  • Text to text- I have read a book where someone's mother died.
  • Text to self- Sometimes I feel all olone, as if I'm the only one.
  • Text to world- Lots of times on the news, I hear that kids went missing.

MY EMOTIONS

I felt a deep emotion throughout the whole story. I was very happy, but the ending made me want to cry. What made me cry was in the end Primrose and David didn't fight. In fact, they were nice to each other.
