  • Increases your risk of adult alcoholism
  • Teens who drink before 15 are 40% more likely to develop this problem
  • One time impairment can have long term consequences

PHYSICAL EFFECTS

  • Health conditions are seen more long term
  • Liver cirrhosis, anemia, hypertension, pancreatitis, heart problems, cancer
  • As you age, teenage drinking will amplify health issues

  • Drinking has been connected to a number of disorders
  • Low self esteem, anxiety disorders, antisocial behaviors, leads to drug use
  • It can increase already existing disorders
