An educator needs to be authentic, genuine, and real. Educators need to engage students through professional, yet personal discussion. Focusing on identity development of developing teachers and connecting personal processes with systemic curriculum, privilege, etc.

Integrate curriculum designed specifically around principles of social justice into teaching preparation programming. Providing educators an opportunity to examine their own privileges and biases that can contribute to the treatment and influence in the classroom.
