Pedagogy: what it used to be!!!!!
This image is what a classroom used to look like. Learning occurred in a instructionist format where the teacher did all the talking and the children just took notes. There was little creativity and every student was expected to learn in the same way.

ICTS are needed in the classroom

  • creates a more collaborative enviroment
  • peaks childrens interest and willingness to learn
  • prepares them for a more technological based future
  • From what i have learnt from this course i found this points to be very true

With ICT you can experience and learn from people all over the globe. Making a more immersive global culture.

General Capablitiles

  • inquiring with ICT, creating with ICT operating with ICT communication with ICT (ACARA, 2015) Suggests that theses are the attribute of learning. With ICTS. being able to source out information using the net, being able to create projects in all manner of computer media, being able to reach out to others whether it be through Social media and just being able to work with all function of computers.

Tpack

  • Content is about the learning, Pedagogy is about the art of teching and Teachnologies are the tools we use. By combining all three it allows he teacher to make an informed decision on what particularly software to use and how to use it (Mishra, P. and Koehler, M. (2009) )

Tpack

  • TPACK identifies the idea that ICT can be used as a implicit part of the learning process re purposing technology to make it a more educational tool. I think this an important because with technology becoming more prelverlet its important to keep up with it and incorporate with it

SAMR

  • Substitute, Augmentation, Modification and Redefinition
  • The purpose of SAMR is to incorporate the use of computers with daily school activities

SAMR

  • i believe that there are no two children alike, so giving them the same type of work seems nonsensicle. With SAMR not allow does it allow for the teachers to modify work for kids but it also does the same for kids to modify their own work to something more focused and enjoyable

Wiki Tools.
wikis are a great and supportive tool to help the collaboration of students (Pifarre, M. & Staarman, J. 2011). By Collaborating a collective mindset can be created and more project based learning can occur and other open ended tasks.

Project Based Learning
Designing, planning and documenting are all accomplished together through PBL. Working on long open ended tasks allows students to incorporate all their knowledge and skills of ICTS into everyday learning (Pifarre, M. & Staarman, J. 2011).

HELPFUL APPS TO IMPROVE LEARNING

  • There are apps specifically made to help the learning process and there are the teacthers incorporate into learning. The movie maker app can be used as a tool to help sum up their learning and a way to express themselves creativily. Apps like the Disaster alert (Disaster Alert Network, 2014) wasn't intended to used as an educational tool but a creative lesson can be taught using this app

THE AUSTRALIAN CURRICULUM
students use ICT to generate ideas, plans and processes that clarify a task (Australian Curriculum, 2015). In a world that is becoming more digital its essential that children learn to become part and communicate with the world at a young age.

Summary
what i have learned from this course is that you have to be adaptive. As TPACK suggests you need to find the perfect balance of teaching, content and technology. there are plenty of teaching tools and apps but the most successful teachers know that you have to be creative with the tools you have already and find clever ways to teach with it.
