An Introduction

Educational Website

Edmodo is an educational website that takes the ideas of a social network and refines them and makes it appropriate for a classroom. Using Edmodo, students and teachers can reach out to one another and connect by sharing ideas, problems, and helpful tips. A teacher can assign and grade work on Edmodo; students can get help from the entire class on Edmodo. It is a safe environment. There is no bullying or inappropriate content, because the teacher can see everything that is posted on Edmodo. Also parents can join the class to deliver transparency.

You can add and store files, photos, app content, movies and web links. Edmodo also enables you to create folders to make storage organised.

The library is a great feature

sending assignments

Students can upload content and attach to an assignment
Once students have completed a a task they can choose where they want to send it.

To improve classroom management you should spend some time teaching students how to upload their work to your preferred storage device.

Remember, this is about providing your students with technology skills as much as it the content and classroom management side of things.

STUDENT BACKPACK

CONTINUATION OF HOW TO SUBMIT WORK TO EDMODO
The student library is called a backpack, they attach to an assignment, or a note to you or the group.

Students can also simply import photos/videos/documents through Edmodo.
