Harry Potter influence marketing campaign

  • there are only 43 influencers who drive the majority of share conversation related to Harry Potter
  • if you take email content and send it out to an audience of millions of people, you get a half percent clickthrough rate if you’re lucky
  • if you go to those top 50 influencers that click through rate is closer to 9.5 to 10 percent
  • People are passionate about sharing information and content within their communities. They want to become a relevant member of their community as opposed to talking at them. Once you know who has influence, provide them with content and start a relationship that they’re going to respect. That will bring them into their community.
  • It’s not let’s email broadcast the top 50. It’s let’s bring them to an event, get them on the phone, and write individual emails. It’s really old-fashioned relationship building applied to the new ways of doing thing
  • Conclusion : the real database is not wasting time gathering it but finding people who will share the database with you and spread the influence, that is the real database

  • He might be the best choice in order to create a marketing campain for the Eden Lodge

The influence marketing campain

  • The Eden Lodge invites the actor with the press for a stay at the hotel
  • At the end of the stay, the journalist will gather the impressions of the actor about the hotel and the actor will also talk about ecology in general
  • The TV will diffuse the interview, people are going to watch it and feel attract by the hotel concept
  • Conclusion : it will promote Madagascar as destination, the Eden Lodge will increase its visibility and Léonardo Di Caprio will benefit of a free trip. It will also be an opportunity for him to talk his concern about ecology and the best eco practises for hotels
  • The link between the Harry Potter influence campain and the campain i created between Léonardo Di Caprio & Eden Lodge is that ecology sensitive persons will spread the information exponentially
