ecosystems have

  • consumers
  • producers
  • decomposers

Producers

  • Only a plant is able to produce its own food from inorganic substances.
  • Examples: flowers, trees grass & more
  • Needs carbon dioxide, sunlight and water

Consumers

  • An organism usually an animal that feeds on plants or other organisms.
  • Examples: omnivores, carnivores & herbivores

DECOMPOSERS

  • An organism, usually a bacterium or fungus, that breaks down the cells of dead plants and animals into simpler substances
  • Examples: mushrooms, bacteria

plants need water carbon dioxide and sunlight

without these resources...

there be no plants & no plants means no oxygen & no oxygen means no organisms
