our hypothesis is that an ecosystem with a lot but not that much rainfall & sunlight will be the best ecosystem for plant life.

an ecosystem is a biological community of interactive organisms and their physical environment.

animals give nutrients to the soil which helps plants

ecosystems have

• consumers
• producers
• decomposers

Producers

• Only a plant is able to produce its own food from inorganic substances.
• Examples: flowers, trees grass & more
• Needs carbon dioxide, sunlight and water

Consumers

• An organism usually an animal that feeds on plants or other organisms.
• Examples: omnivores, carnivores & herbivores

DECOMPOSERS

• An organism,usually a bacterium or fungus,that breaks down the cells of dead plants and animals into simpler substances
• Examples: mushrooms, bacteria

plants need water carbon dioxide and sunlight

there be no plants & no plants means no oxygen & no oxygen means no organisms

so if an ecosystem had more rain and more sunlight...

or less rain and less sunlight which ecosystem would be best to support plant life?
