BASIC CHARACTERISTIC

• Echinoderm means "spiny skinned"
• Their shape is like stars, pincushions, and coins
• It's a radially symmetrical invertebrate that lives on the ocean floor
• Adults have a unique kind of symmetry where Body parts usually in multiples of 5 are arranged like spokes on a wheel.
• Lives only in salt water

• There spines are there defense mechanism
• The crown of thorns starfish has poisonous spines
• They can regrow body parts
• Starfish has tube feet that help them move by pushing water
• Starfish are experts at burrowing into the sand to hide

• Male and female echinoderms

• Live in wet environments
