1 cup all-purpose gluten-free flour blend

2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
1 large egg
1 cup of buttermilk, shaken
2 tablespoons melted butter
¼ cup of milk or more to thin, if needed
