  • An adult is about 3 1/2 to 4ft long
  • It weighs to 3 to 4 lbs.

  • The back is an olive or black color
  • It is a paler color underneath
  • It has stripes down its side

DIET

  • It's diet consists of small mammals,frogs
  • Lizards,birds,turtles,and other snakes

CATCHING PREY

  • When the animal is detected the snake will strike
  • It kills it by injecting its venom into the animal
  • Then they wait for it to die then they eat it

BITE EFFECTS

  • The bite is poisonous
  • The venom attacks blood cells causing blood loss
  • It could cause the loss of a limb
  • It could also cause permanent tissue and muscle damage

  • They stay inside the female's body until they are ready to hatch
  • They aren't cared for by their parent
