EARLY HUMANS CULMINATING PROJECT

Bipedalism
Bipedalism(walking on two feet) was first discovered in AA in a female hominid named Lucy around 3 to 4 million years ago. Walking on two feet has allowed human beings to have their hands free and do great things.

Having access to our wonderful hands now allows us to innovate a better future. We can now design greater homes and buildings for us to live and discover in.

Control of Fire
Control of fire was first found in Homo Erectus from 1.8 to .2 million years ago in Africa and Asia. The ability to use fire allows humans to cook and smelt food and metal, and also heat themselves.

Humans still use fire today for the same reason including cooking, smelting, and heat.

Shelter
In the Paleolithic Age the shelter that the hominids had all depended on their food source and if they rested in caves or tents made of sticks and skins.

Shelter's today are occupied by people with a stable food supply which means they don't have to move around to find food.
