Eisenhower was born October 14, 1890
He was the first Supreme Allied Commander of NATO.
June 6,1944 he lead the allied forces in the Normandy invasion, also known as D-Day
Months after D-Day Eisenhower was appointed U.S. Army Chief of Staff.
In 1952 he was appointed as the 34th president of the U.S.
He served 2 terms in office
Eisenhower died
March 28, 1969

- In high school he was a star football player, but hAd series of knee injuries.
- Eisenhower toured and reported for the War Department for 2 years
- His first born son died of scarlet fever in 1921 at the age of 3.

- When Eisenhower was 4 his 10 month old brother died
- He retired to a farm house in Gettysburg.
