1- is a disohonest act and global illicit trade involving the cultivation , manufacture ,distribution and sale of substances which are subject to drug prohibition laws .

Causes :

• Poverty: There are many risk factors associated with drug and alcohol abuse. These include childhood experiences, genes, mental illness and psychological factors. In some cases, people who are poor also are in high risk factors. But people who are not suffering from poverty also may embody these risk factors. Unfortunately, many people who are poor become entrenched in the lifestyle that often includes incarceration, exposure to law enforcement, poor health outcomes and homelessness. Because of these issues, surveys and research often focuses on these communities and the result is an over-representation in public health reporting. The research that suggests that poor people abuse drugs and alcohol is potentially biased because of this reporting.

• 2* the character of a person: An individuel personality and character can influence a person to start using drugs derived from curiosity and the desire to experiment or searching for ultimate pleasure . Some people may turn to drugs as a result of problems or having difficulties with relaxation and anxiety but others are relying on drugs for having their self-confidence .

• 1- Health: the drug addiction can pose a serious health risks like cancer .And some cases lead to death or fatal accidents or overdose.it is vital to understand that drug abuse is not just abad habit but it deemed as disease that effect the brain,causing change the chemistry of it ,thus influencing the person's behavior .

• 2- Society: there is a damaging ramification placed on the society today due to the presence of drug addiction that causes and effects of drugs addiction burdden on the families , schools,places of work . the drug addiction take a toll on raising children increases amongst youth.

solutions: The best ways to end this latter is by sensitize people and do not starting a war with citizens because its not winnable way to show them that it had a lot of drawbacks .
