  • Car crashes are the 9th leading death for teens
  • The age for a person to drive should be raised due their immaturity, distractions, and underestimating problems

MAIN POINT 1

  • Immaturity
  • NBC news said that 66 percent that crash did not have a seatbelt
  • Teens do not realize how important a seatbelt is and to not take a couple of seconds to buckle up is immature.

MAIN POINT 2

  • Distraction
  • NBC reported that 6 out of 10 teens crash
  • Distractions can get yourself relatives injured

MAIN POINT 3

  • Underestimate problems
  • Fox News interviewed a father of a son who died in a car crashed. He implied that “ The kids don’t think through”, and “I didn’t at that age. I didn’t make connections”.
  • Teens finding a shortcuts and trying to reach their destination tend to underestimate their situation.

CONCLUSION

  • As a result The age for a person to drive should be raised due to teen immaturity, easily being distracted, and tendency to underestimate problems.
  • Your teacher would miss you.
  • You should show them that you can make no mistakes on the streets
