Draco Malfoy- The Boy Who Made The Right Choice

PRESENTATION OUTLINE

DRACO MALFOY

THE BOY WHO MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE (A DOCUMENTARY BY BLACK FURYZ)

Draco Malfoy. When you hear this name, what do you think of? The boy who had no choice, The boy who was a mean Slytherin, or the boy who made the right choice? If you think about him as the boy with no choice, well, you are a kind and nice person. If you think about him as the mean Slytherin, OK, gotta move your mindset homie. BUT, have you have EVER thought of him as the boy who made the right choice?

Ain't gonna be surprised if you haven't. When you see the other musical documentaries, they always showcase it with Draco having no choice, his father being that loony old warlock who only wants power and respect and blah blah blah. But have you ever thought of the other things Draco did? Like for example, DRACO DIDN'T KILL DUMBLEDORE, DRACO DIDN'T TELL OUR OLD HAG BELLATRIX THAT IT WAS HARRY AND DRACO NEVER REALLY BULLIED ANYONE (he might have jinxed Neville and a few other people, but he NEVER hurt anybody. In the Philosopher's Stone, it was Ron who wrestled first, not Draco).

Draco never lost his patience either. And that surely is one good quality which the Gryffindors don't have but Slytherins do. Don't get me wrong, all houses have good qualities. But just like nobody is perfect, none of the houses had ALL the good qualities that exist! So, back to business. Draco had many other qualities too, like being able to think cunningly etc. But this is not the place we talk about qualities, is it?

Well, if you ask me, ask "What did Draco do right that you are making this documentary, Black Furyz?"
Well, I have the answer. And the answer is what everyone, including you know. Think. Think what Draco did which even Dumbledore sometimes hesitated to do. It is is a quality which is extremely rare and it is in all houses. But however, many refuse to take it.
The quality which Draco possessed was forgiveness.

LET ME TELL YOU HOW DRACO WAS THE ONLY PERSON WHO DIDN'T HESITATE TO FORGIVE.

  • Harry was impatient. He couldn't forgive easily.
  • Ron was a happy-go-lucky dude, but he always became a bit aggressive before forgiving. Like when our sweet little Ginny and our innocent Harry entered utopia in Ginny's room and Ron broke into the party, you know the rest XD(refer to the last book).
  • Hermione was forgiving, but it cost you a three-days worth time for her to forgive anybody. Like when old Ronnikins left the search party of the Horcruxes (again refer to the last book).
  • Our good ol' boy Severus Snape was patient but he he apparently had trouble issues in forgiving. Remember in the Order of the Phoenix? When Harry looked into Snape's memories via the Penseive, Snape found out and he stopped giving Occlumency Lessons to Harry.
  • I do not even need to mention Sirius here, everybody knows he was the exact opposite of Hermione. His motto was: Never forgive and Forget. So he didn't even take time to forgive and never really forgive either (duh)
  • Our own Santa from the Wizarding World AKA Albus Dumbledore hesitated to forgive. (What a pity, he and Draco would have tied up on the list then *sad Lenny face*)
  • Welp, the others I don't need to mention. I hope you get my point now. Draco was the only person, human enough to not think, but forgive XD

Now, ahem. Yes. So, Draco indeed was the spotlight of his sad story, but he was also what could be called as: "The Good Side of the Slytherins". Slytherins were never bad, it was just a stereotype about Salazar Slytherin which spread rapidly and made the Slytherins think that they are supposed to be negative minded. I don't think that just because of Salazar Slytherin's impatience, the entire house needs to be rumoured as a mean and rude one!

Slytherins tend to be ambitious, shrewd, cunning, strong leaders, and achievement-oriented. This was what the Sorting Hat told us. The Sorting Hat was the only living thing which knew the entire truth. Every year, it tried its best to tell the others that Slytherins weren't bad, but alas, who would listen? The stereotype passed from father to son, mother to daughter. What has already been written in the exam cannot be changed after you get your marks, can it? No. So just like that, the wall the stereotype against the Slytherins had built was so strong that there wasn't a boulder which the Sorting Hat found strong enough to break it.

"I will eat myself up, if you find a hat smarter than me" Remember these lines from the first book? They were giving us clues about everything! "Dunno, the Sorting Hat has given warnings before when it knows there's going to be trouble... It stays in Dumbledore's office and Dumbledore himself is of course aware of what happens and what doesn't. People come to his office and tell him. And the people of course pass the Sorting Hat so it is aware of everything." Our old Headless Nick said these lines if you remember. The Sorting Hat knows everything and there's no mistake in that! But no one cares to understand the meaning of the Sorting Hat's song- they just hear it and become content.

We really need to understand stuff from now. Some things and people are a bit too mysterious. They like the answer to be in right front of you but it is difficult to be found. Even in the Muggle World, we often see these things around us. In tests, questions have the answer in them but it is hard to find, in news reports, you see a lot of stuff happening. People call the CIB and the CID and other secret forces to solve mysteries. Even in Harry Potter, Harry was the seventh and the last Horcrux but nobody seemed to realise it. Not even Dumbledore himself! Remember in the last book when old Baldy Voldy kills Harry? Harry goes to a place (dunno why it looked like Heaven lol) and meets our Late Albus Dumbledore there. Dumbledore himself admits that Harry was the last Horcrux.

"So by killing you Harry, Voldemort actually killed the part of himself which he had accidentally put in you when you were a baby. He of course didn't mean to." Dumbledore said that, remember? Wait- I just realised that we are drifting away from Draco's story 😂. Just get to my point: I wanna say that Draco was not the boy with no choices; Draco was the boy who made the correct choice. HE was the boulder the Sorting Hat was looking for to kill that stereotype. Those who say it should be Severus, I am afraid you are wrong. I am sorry, but Severus a Snape wasn't forgiving that much, was he? And he might not have bullied people, but he made Hermione cry in the third book which Draco had never done.

Draco Malfoy jinxed people and told them that they were hopeless cases and I am not disagreeing with that fact, but he never made anyone cry. He made others angry, annoyed, petrified, scared and blah blah blah, but he never made them cry. Severus Snape was loyal and he followed the law, not HIS own law but still, he wasn't enough. It was Draco and always will be who became the boulder. But sadly, not many people recognise him as he is. They all take him as the boy with zero percent chance of having a choice. But I want to change their minds. I wanna make y'all realise that he made the right choice. He had a choice, everybody did, just that he took some time to realise it.

He was the hope to ALL Slytherins and he succeeded . In his honour, I dare say, blimey, why not a recognition party be held? I want YOU to comment in this video and tell YOUR theories about the Wizarding World! Also, don't forget to correct me if there are any mistakes I made (I apologise in advance if I did). Take your time, think, rate this video, and last but not least, comment "Draco, you are appreciated! 💚Slytherin and of course, 💜Hogwarts!"

BYE GUYS! HOPE YOU ENJOYED :)

DON'T FORGET RATING LOL
