Lost

  
*Alzheimer's = lose your memory- starts in Hippocampus ( where new memories are made)
* Dementia and Alzheimer's = very alike
- It makes you very confused and lost and unaware
* Alzheimer's will effect the entire brain and overtime take over your entire brain
* Dementia mainly effects the memory while alzheimer's effects and takes over your entire brain
*Alzheimer's = more intense than Dementia

*Alzheimer's effects the family
*The medication= Expensive
* Memory loss = family remiding them
*It's also stressful having some in your house with Alzheimer's...

They require 24/7 attention and care
And most of the time, they don't even know who the people caring for them are, or where they are= caregivers constantly reminding them
The drugs are very helpful but they don't cure it
Drugs= reverse/ slow down the process of Alheimer's
* drugs = may not cure but they really help out the family and the patient

Helping

     
*Eating healthy while your younger will help keep Alzheimer's from happening in the future
*Working out and excerzising while your younger and keeping fit will decrease the risk of getting Alzheimer's
*There are ways to help someone with Alzheimer's to
Being calm and clear with them will help them stay relaxed
* Giving them a balanced diet will help their body stay healthy
*Keeping them active and alert will also really have a good impact on them

Learn

  
* Alzheimer = serious disease - find a cure soon
*Alzheimer's = impact a family and a person a lot - ( ect. / explain more in depth)
* Knowing about Alzheimer's could possibly end up helping a family one day
* And knowing how to help someone with Alzheimer's and how to help a family might end up helping you to
* knowing proper care - impact
* Hopefully Alzheimer's will be cured soon - such a serious disease
* Until then, the best thing that we can do is to learn more about alzheimer's and how to help people who are coping with it
