They are a favorite wildlife wacher
A lot of species like to leap out of the water and follow ships
They use echolocation to locate prey

Baby dolphins are called calfs
usually twin dolphins are rare
Dolphin Babies
- Right as soon as the baby is born the mother must rush the baby to the surface for it to take its first breath
- The calf will stay with the mother until 3 to 8 years old
Dolphins are usually found in salt water but they can live in fresh water
Only some species live in fresh water
