CHARACTERIZATION-
- The dynamic character is Emily.
- Emily is a spacial 11 year old girl turning 12 that was adopted as a infant. Now she has a great family that really takes care of her and a dog that she has a spacial connection with. She loves school and is very smart and wants to become a Veterinarian. She works very hard at learning about animals and Zack her dog has helped a lot with that.
- Her character trait is helpful.

QUOTE 1- " Was someone trapped under a car? Zack was standing by her side, looking up at her urgently. Then, once he was sure she had gotten the message, he turned and dashed out of the yard. Okay, she didn't need any more hints that there was some kind of an emergency. Emily dropped her fork on the table and ran after him as fast as she could." pg 18
Explain: Zack was sending Emily a mental picture of a car falling to let her know someone was in trouble.
QUOTE 2- " Emily found herself feeling tense and anxious, although she wasn't sure why, and she jumped to her feet, too. Somewhere in the school, there was something seriously wrong!" pg 52
Explain: Zack was communicating with Emily so she could go help someone that was hurt.

Explain: Not thinking about it she ran right away to help Mrs. Griswold.
