• Our senses prove things are in motion and things move by converting potential energy to actual energy.
• Nothing can be both potential and actual at the same time, it must be one or the other.
• Therefore, nothing can move itself.
• This means everything in motion is moved by something else and that it could not have existed forever
• It has to have been started by a higher being and first mover...God (mnstate.edu.)

Comparing Beings

• There is difference in being, some are better and worse than others.
• We compare things to the uttermost of the characteristic...a hotter thing resembles the hottest one closely
• The maximum in a genus is the creation of the rest of the genus.
• Therefore, there is something that created us and that we resemble, God (newadvent.org.)
