do robots have rights ?

In this day in age theirs so much improvement on robots and the world of technology, but the question still stands, do they have rights? . yes there a man made machine but , but there very similar to humans therefore should they have the same set of rights as humans ?

some argue robots should have to be smart enough to request rights then we could begin to consider. theirs more reasons against the evolution to robots such as costs and prolonging costs, the possibly of "take over"
as a result of there ability to work more efficiently or just simply create a aggressive divide affecting others & the world around us.

the other side which I would like to call more imaginative their are also some supporting reasons like taking away some possibility of someone taking advantage of these smart "could be weapons" for not the greater good, or to honor a creation so similar on the surface to humans and seeing where it goes cause some believe it can be a great new opportunity for human-kind , but is it worth the risk ?

given the following information you can kinda see how its split , I believe its more of the creators\manufacturers that want "rights or rules" for there or on the side of there robots , but thats what they are "there robots", there not there own robot or person .

It's a little sad but i truly don't think were ready for that change or responsibility and neither are they (the robots) . maybe sometime in the future when more research and pro-cations can be taken\practiced then they could have that free range or freedom but as of now i don't think they should have these rights(next slide):

the rights i'm concerned about:
- democratic rights
- legal rights
- mobility rights
-some-more but there not so point blank
[ I suggest looking over the charter rights and freedoms if you're serious or curious about the topic ]
i do truly believe humans are humans based on real life personal experiences that they have went through , robots lack that therefore , well see how it plays out .
