DIWAHLI

  • Diwahli is a Hindu celebration; it is the festival of light. They celebrate
  • triumph of good over evil. It marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year.
  • People decorate with lights and fireworks. People also give and receive gifts.

DIWAHLI

  • Diwalhi is celebrated mostly in India, and its the country's biggest
  • celebration and the most important festival. The festival gets its name from the
  • row of clay lamps that indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light
  • that protects us from spirtual darkness.

VAISAKHI

  • It is a Sikh celebration it also marks the beginning of the Sikh New Year
  • You start celebrating by going to the temple; Holy Book read throughout entire service.
  • It is very common for the Sikh people to leave money. Sikhs pray while at temple afterwards
  • Sikhs receive food from Guru (blessed food). People celebrate by praying 1st then parade starts.

VAISAKHI

  • Vaisakhi is the festival which celebrates the founding of the Sikh community
  • known as Khalsa. It is celebrated on April 14 every year. People celebrate by dancing,
  • singing p, dressing in holiday finery, observing wresting bouts and enjoying parades.
