Definition

• The definition of Netiquette is how to act online.
• Like being responsible, truthful, respectful, and sharing your feelings.

Good Digital Netiquette

• Let people know who you are, no anonymity.
• Don’t be sarcastic, they can’t see your face or hear your voice.
• When you are showing emotions do this, *sigh* what a day.
• You can show emotion by making smiley faces, :-D, ;), :-O, :.-(, and so on.
• Using shortcuts isn’t bad, LOL, laugh out loud, IDK, I don’t know and so forth.

• Say sorry if you are bothering someone.
• Keep away from abusing people online, please.
• If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it
• Before you post, T.H.I.N.K, is it truthful, helpful, inspiring, necessary, kind?
• Don't online scream, SCREAMING!!!!!!! No thank you.
• Don't online scream, SCREAMING!!!!!!! No thank you.

Bad Netiquette

• There are some people that are nice in person but online they are trolls.
• There are some people that are nice in person but online they are trolls.
• People think that online they are free to do what they want to do like they are invisible.
• Even if don’t know someone don’t mean we can just go around bullying people or ignore them
• Try not to get angry at people online, that could start a flamewar, It’s not worth it.

Bad Netiquette (contiued)

• People often get angry at others when they don’t share opinions.
• Use your filter, think about what you are actually saying.
• Give people privacy, don’t let stalkers be stalkers!
